Why these are mini replicas for Children to learn to drill things and cut through wood.
What Happened?
Unlike the toys of today...these were made in the late '60s and made of actual metal...and they actually work. The good news is that the power tools operate on batteries...so you might run out of juice before you completely saw off an appendage.
Aftermath?
I'm not sure anything was done about this as this toy came out during a time when people didn't complain so much about toys. This must also explain why I can find no reports of injuries related to these products because c'mon....really?
