Fisher-Price Little People

What Is It? 

They are little figurines that were originally sort of a wood base designed to fit into little playsets.

What Happened? 

In 1991 the CPSC announced 7 deaths and a serious injury due to the fact that the little toys are choking hazards.

Aftermath?

All Fisher-Price Little People that were created before 1991 were now considered dangerous and Parents were asked to throw out the old toys, and the new design featured fatter little people that could not be swallowed.
